Catherine and Bryce’s wedding was at the beautiful garden venue of The Wright House. This is one of those amazing venues that looks like it is not in Arizona. It is a little oasis garden in the middle of Mesa. The large gardens and character of the hold house reminds Catherine of home. Making it the perfect backdrop for Catherine and Bryce’s wedding.
Catherine and Bryce met on the coffee meets bagel dating app, and the rest is history. They love hiking in the Superstition mountains so much that we did their engagement session there! They also just love spending time together with date nights at Golfland and Saturday morning trips to the farmer’s market. And, I cannot forget about their adorable kitties Oliver and Mouse who made an appearance on their custom cake topper!
We started the day taking pictures of all the details and each of them getting ready. We had to make sure to snag pictures of the Guardians of the Galaxy cufflinks the groomsmen were wearing and the Hand of the King pin for the best man. Catherine and Bryce wrote notes to each other for their wedding day and Bryce went above and beyond by also surprising Catherine with a bouquet of roses delivered with her note. After some quick pictures with the bridesmaids and groomsmen/ladies, it was time for the ceremony.
A string quartet welcomed the guests to the garden ceremony. Their families walked down the aisle proceeded by the bridal party. Then, the string quartet started playing Coheed and Cambria for Catherine to walk down the aisle. These two were all smiles from that moment through the ceremony. During the ceremony, Bryce’s grandfather shared a reading. Then it was time for Catherine and Bryce to exchange vows and rings. And with a kiss, they were finally husband and wife!
We wandered around the garden taking pictures of the two of them. (And of course their amazing bridal party and families!) These two were so sweet and loving together. If they didn’t have a smile on their face, it is because their lips were too busy kissing each other! After we got all of their portraits done, it was time for the party to start. Catherine and Bryce wasted no time and went straight into their first dance from their grand entrance. After dinner, they shared dances with their parents, an anniversary dance, and tossed the bouquet and garter. But my favorite part of the night was when they gathered their friends on the dance floor to sing “Bohemian Rhapsody” together. After a lot of dancing and wonderful memories with their family and friends, they ended the night with a sparkler exit.
Catherine and Bryce, I hope the two of you continue to have amazing adventures together. I know you will continue to make each other smile and laugh throughout your marriage.
