Michelle and Daniel were married at the The Wright House on the Provencal side. I was so excited, as this was the first wedding I photographed at the Provencal. This venue at The Wright House feels like a French garden. There is beautiful stonework on the buildings surrounding the garden and cherubs and other statues throughout the path to the garden. The garden has an immaculate gazebo for the couple to get married in front of. Just beyond the gazebo is the reception space surrounded by lush green plants and beautiful tiled fountains.
Michelle and Daniel met in college through a mutual friend that they are still close with to this day. Him and his wife live next door to Michelle and Daniel and they were the best man and maid of honor at the wedding! (Michelle and Daniel was maid of honor and best man for their wedding too!) When they are not playing board games with their besties, they love traveling together and doing all things Harry Potter!
Their wedding day was full of smiles and good times. We started by doing their first look on the rooftop of the Wright House! From there, they were all smiles for the rest of the day. Their ceremony was held in front of the gazebo at the Provencal. It was a sweet ceremony filled with smiles and happy tears. After the ring exchange and the kiss, we were off to take pictures with the besties. As we did, a mariache band came in to play for the guests during cocktail hour.
The reception was outside in the garden with the tranquil sounds of the fountains mixed with the soft dinner music. The weather was absolutely perfect for a garden dinner. After toasts, it was time to head inside for the dances and to cut the cake. Then it was time to get the party started. And let me tell you, Michelle’s grandma out danced them all! During the bouquet toss, Michelle’s cousin got hit in the face with the bouquet! She thought it was just as hilarious as we did, and actually caught the bouquet on the second toss. After dancing the night away, Michelle and Daniel ended the night with a sparkler exit leading to their limo to carry them away.
Michelle and Danielle, it was such a pleasure to photograph a fellow Harry Potter nerd’s wedding! I hope you have a wonderful time in Ireland this summer!
