Christina & Robert were married at the Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club in the city of Superstition Mountain! I seriously had no idea that was a city in Arizona! This venue had great views of the Superstition Mountains from the ceremony space to the cocktail hour and reception areas. Christina & Robert were super excited to take photos at sunset when the mountains were turning those epic pink hues and were excited their guests could watch the sunset on the mountains too! In addition to the amazing views, the buildings were gorgeous. They had Spanish inspired architecture and the most beautiful stone work and green ivy plants. Perfect for Christina and Roberts intimate wedding and dinner reception.
Christina and Robert met speed dating on Valentines Day! (Giving me all the romantic comedy feels!) They bonded over their love of traveling both in the United States and internationally. They just love spending time together whether that is camping or eating dinner together at home.
The Wedding
Christina and Robert wanted their wedding to be about coming together with their family and friends and good food! And their wedding was a sweet and intimate family affair. Robert’s son was his best man. And Christina’s bridesmaid’s were her sister and Robert’s daughter. Christina got matching rings for herself and the girls for wedding gifts. But it didn’t stop there! Christina had an adorable charm on her bouquet made out of her grandmother’s silver. She was all about the sentimental touches. Christina gifted Robert with custom cuff links with maps of his birthplace and hers.
As guests arrived to the ceremony they were greeted by the sounds of an acoustic guitar. The ceremony was simple and sweet. The officiant told the story of how they met, they exchanged their vows, and were officially married! Then the guests went to cocktail hour and we got our amazing sunset photos with the mountains! After mingling with guests, it was time to head over to dinner. Everyone enjoyed a four course meal accompanied by the acoustic guitarist. The family shared toasts and the Christina and Robert cut the cake to open the delicious dessert table. They ended the night listening to their song under the full moon.
Christina and Robert, I am so excited that you two are married! I hope that you two continue to have amazing adventure traveling and all the best for you and your family.
