10 Ways to Add A Little Disney Magic To Your Wedding

10 Ways to Add A Little Disney Magic To Your Wedding 10 Ways to Add A Little Disney Magic To Your Wedding 10 Ways to Add A Little Disney Magic To Your Wedding

Do you love Disney?  It’s hard not to now that Star Wars and Marvel are officially a part of Disney!  Do you want to show that love for Disney at your wedding? Many of my couples include touches of their love of Disney at their weddings.  It is a great way to bring something you and your fiance love into your wedding day. Here are some of my favorite ideas!

Toasting Glasses

The toasting glasses for you and your new spouse are a great way to show your love for Disney!  You can get traditional flutes that are engraved with a Disney element, like these.

Names On Shoe Bottoms

This is one I found on Pinterest and had to add!  You know how in Toy Story all the toy’s have Andy’s name?  Well, put each others names on the bottom of your shoe! This will make for a great photo op with your photographer.  And is a very low key nod to your love of Toy Story.

Cake Topper

You can do just about anything you want with a cake topper these days, including showing your love for Disney.  The possibilities here are endless. You can go with a cute quote like “Happily Ever After” or “You Are My Greatest Adventure”.  Or you can go with character toppers like Mickey and Minnie, Wall-e and Eve, Beauty and the Beast. Another cute idea is using a Disney element for your cake topper like the his and her chairs from up or the Disney castle!

Table Numbers/Names

You can name your tables after different Disney movies or themes.  The Up table can have a table number that says “I want to grow UP with you.”  Or include your favorite love quote from each movie on the table number. Another idea is to name them after your favorite rides at Disney!

Guest Book

All of my favorite Disney guest books are up themed!  There is the “Our Adventure Book” guest book. And a picture of the house where you guests each sign a balloon.  But there are some other great subtle ideas like a “Be Our Guest” guest book! Looking for something a little more funky?  Have your guests sign large vinylmation Mickeys in black and white or the colors of your wedding.

Wedding Signs

There are so many great Disney references that you can incorporate into the signs on your wedding day.  Like “Be Our Guest” on your escort card display. Or “A Spoonful of Sugar” for your dessert table. Not to mention all the great love quotes to sprinkle around as signs of their own.

Ear Rings/Cufflinks

Cute mickey shaped earring or cufflinks?!  Yes please! This is also a great way to pop in that “something blue” to your outfit.  Make it even more special by picking out the earrings together at your next trip to Disney!  (I would say the cufflinks too, but I am not 100% sure where to find them in the parks. But I know the Disney shop sells them online.)

Photo Booth Props

If you are anything like me, you have a collection of ear hats from Disneyland.  Bust them out for guests to use at your photobooth! You can also find a ton of Disney themed photo booth props online.  Everything from princess hair cutouts, to ear hat cut outs (if you don’t want to use your own), to Mr. Potato Head pieces, to fun quotes like “Mine, mine, mine”, and so much more.

Fast Pass Seating Cards

Speaking of name your tables for your favorite rides, my favorite Disney escort cards have been these fast pass cards!  The person would find their name to find their fast pass. And the Fast Pass would tell them which table they were seated at!

Play Disney Love Songs During Cocktails

You can go all out and play the classic songs that everyone recognizes like “You’ve Got A Friend in Me”.  Or you can be a little more subtle and play acoustic versions of classic Disney love songs. Or, if you want to get super nerdy, play the songs that they play at Disneyland.  Check out the Walt Disney Legacy Collection for everything from the song on Main Street U.S.A. to the Fantasmic show.
